Tonight in Stuttgart the seventh Animation Production Day, an event within FMX 2013 and ITFS 2013, draws to a close. Over 200 representatives of the German and international animation industry attended the "Financing & Brands" conference on Thursday afternoon in Stuttgart's Haus der Wirtschaft. On Friday 90 participants from 12 different countries held negotiations about the 32 animation projects selected for this year's APD.

32 animation projects from 11 countries with a total production value of around 70 million Euros have been selected to participate in this year's Animation Production Day (APD) which, presented by FMX 2013 and ITFS 2013, is taking place on 25 and 26 April in Stuttgart's Haus der Wirtschaft. This is now the seventh time German and international animation producers are meeting here to find coproduction partners, broadcasters, distributors and investors for their new projects.

Animation producers, broadcasters, banks and funders develop measures to strengthen the German animation industry
Stuttgart, 10th May 2012. Yesterday the sixth Animation Production Day (APD) in Stuttgart ended with a conference on "Financing & Brands". Broadcasters, producers, banks and funders, in a joint effort together with European partners, developed a series of measures to better position the German animation market. The APD 2012 brought together a total of over 100 representatives of the animation industries of ten different countries.

Animation Production Day 2012 in Stuttgart brings together over 100 representatives of the international animation industry. A total of 28 projects have been selected for Animation Production Day, with a special focus this year on Denmark.

When the fifth Animation Production Day (APD) drew to a close at Stuttgart's Haus der Wirtschaft this afternoon, the mood among both participants and organisers was upbeat. At the APD Special conference on TV and production in Germany for the children's and youth markets discussion was boosted by a study presented by the German Producers' Alliance.
