The Animation Production Day, hosted by FMX 2013 and ITFS 2013, is a business platform for the international animation industry. In effective one-to-one meetings, APD brings together financing, distribution and co-production partners for cinema, TV and transmedia animation projects.
The APD 2012 brought together a total of over 100 representatives of the animation industries. In about 350 one-to-one meetings, participants discussed the brand potential of the 27 projects selected for this year's APD, as well as new financing channels, product strategies and exploitation options. With 65 companies and institutions from a total of ten countries, the APD has grown by nearly 40 percent in this, its sixth year.
